Orlando Private Jet Charters

One of the most popular destination within the state of Florida is Orlando. The Orlando Metropolitan area is the 24th largest in the United States and is known as the “Theme Park Capital of the World”. It is home to Disney World, Universal Studios, and Seaworld all of which have dozens of attractions and theme parks within them and drew in about 62 million visitors last year. Orlando is also home to the Orange County Convention Center, the second largest convention center in the world and draws in millions more visitors every year. In order to accommodate this huge influx of visitors to central Florida, there are two large international airports that serve the area.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the most commonly used airport for visitors of Orlando. It is located 6 miles from central Orlando and the facilities are the 3rd largest in the United States in terms of square miles, and the 9th busiest in terms of passenger traffic. This airport is often very crowded with long lines and getting through security can take a couple of hours. There is another international airport that serves the area 25 miles from central Orlando called Sanford International Airport. It has a much smaller presence than MCO has and less passenger traffic.

Two other international airports in the area serve those wanting to visit Orlando who are also interested in visiting Florida’s white sand beaches, take a cruise, or visit Kennedy Space Center. Melbourne International Airport (MLB) is about 60 miles from Orlando on the “Space Coast” with about 95% of airport operations being in private jets and other general aviation. Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is 65 miles from Orlando with the majority of operations also being in private chartered jets. Perfect to fly into for visiting the beach itself or see an event at Daytona International Speedway.

Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) is the main reliever airport for Orlando International Airport and is a popular choice among corporate travelers. It is located just 3 miles of downtown Orlando and offers 24-hour service. All major highways are easily accessible from the airport putting the industrial and business centers of Orlando within a few minutes’ drive. Thanks to Orlando Executive and the other nearby airports that serve mostly chartered jet aviation, there are plenty of options for getting to the sunshine state hassle-free and include excellent service.
