About San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport – San Luis Obispo, CA (SBP)
975 Airport Dr
San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
San Luis Obispo Airport is a county-owned airport in San Luis Obispo County, California. It has been in operation since 1927 and was previously known as Paso Robles Airfield. The airport covers 340 acres and has two asphalt runways. San Luis Obispo Airport was one of several California airports that had air-traffic control contract towers when contractual towers were still in place between the years 1970 to 2007.
The airfield was originally built as a grass airstrip by the Birtcher brothers, who lived nearby. The airport was then called “Birtcher Airport”, which eventually evolved into San Luis County Regional Airport

2933 Airport Blvd
Abilene, TX 79602
Abilene Regional Airport is a state-of-the-art, three-runway facility located in the city of Abilene. Upon its completion, it became one of the first airports in Texas to have Federal Inspection Service available for all arriving and departing international flights. The airport is now an FAA Foreign Trade Zone certified site, which helps facilitate exports throughout the world.
A multi-million construction project upgraded and expanded the existing terminal and added three new air carrier gates with ancillary support facilities. A new runway was also built adjacent to the existing airport.
