Monday June 24th we’ll be taking to the golf course at Oheka Castle to raise money for North Shore LIJ and The Long Island Children’s Museum. The second annual “Big Daddy” Celebrity Golf Classic” was created by Rich “Big Daddy” Salgado in order to raise money for North Shore-LIJ’s Brain Aneurysm Center.
Rich Salgado is the Founder & President of Coastal Advisors LLC Insurance Consultants and suffered a brain aneurysm in September of 2008. Thanks to the outstanding medical care Rich received at North Shore – LIJ, he made a full recovery.
We will be teaming up with Rich, RXR, MorganStanley SmithBarney, Thuzio, The Hain Celestial Group, Bud Light, Avion Tequila, Ferrari Maserati of Long Island, and a long list of others to raise money for the cause.
This year’s event is scheduled to have over 40 sports and media celebrities. Some notable attendees include former NY Giants Amani Toomer and Tiki Barber and former Knicks players, John Starks and Charles Oakley. A portion of the proceeds will also go to The Long Island Children’s Museum. The LICM is a museum dedicated to providing an outlet for people of all ages to discover their passions and learn more about their community.
